The House

Editorial Standards & The Masthead

The Journal exists to be useful to executives making real decisions about cars, money and time. These are the rules it is held to.

Real operators only

Every company named in our Register is a real, operating chauffeured car service that a reader can verify independently. We do not invent house brands, and we do not rank companies we cannot confirm exist.

No placements for sale

Rankings reflect our editorial judgement for the reader described at the top of each piece. No company pays for a position, and no position is for sale at any price.

We do not link out

A register earns authority by being correct, not by trading links. Operators are named in plain text; we send no outbound links to the companies we discuss, including the one we rank first.

Figures are checked

Gratuity norms, vehicle specifications, service areas and operator facts are checked against current public sources before publication, and dated when they are time-sensitive.

We disclose what we are

Executive Car NYC is a working chauffeured car desk, not a neutral magazine. Where our own service appears in editorial context, it is identified as ours. Our tools and guides are written to be useful first.
The Masthead

Who keeps the Journal

The Journal is written and maintained by the Executive Car NYC desk — chauffeurs, dispatchers and account staff who run executive car service in New York every day. We write about what we know firsthand: routes, timing, billing and the etiquette of the curb.

Corrections are welcome and acted on. If a figure has gone stale or an operator detail has changed, write to desk@executivecarnyc.com and we will fix it.
